The library stocks a wide range of fiction books and actively encourages reading for pleasure. New books are regularly added to the stock but any suggestions of new authors or titles are always welcome - just let Mrs. Roberts or Mrs. Light know.

The library supports the shadowing of the Carnegie Prize during the summer term - please see Mrs. Roberts or Mrs. Penfold for details. Other book prizes you may be interested in are the Booktrust teenage prize, the Whitbread awards and the Booker Prize.

Literature Map: Type in the name of your favourite author, and the site suggest authors that other fans of your author have enjoyed.

Reading Matters: Book reviews by teenagers for teenagers.

Tangled Web UK: A site devoted to British crime, mystery, horror, fantasy and science fiction writing.
