Every year the Second and Third Forms run from the top of Reigate Hill across the heath to The Childrens' Trust at Tadworth Court. The run is sponsored to raise funds for the charity which helps children overcome disabilities. Every year the Trust holds a recognition day to thank the schools in the local area who raise money for them. The afternoon gives pupils a chance to look round the facilities, to experience an idea of what life is like with a disability. The culmination of the afternoon was a presentation ceremony where all the schools that support the Trust were given certificates to thank them for their efforts. Since RGS first started raising money for the Trust in the 1980s we have raised over £65000.
Many thanks to to the two pupils from 3MW for giving up Biology and RS to come along for the afternoon. MW.
